Prenatal yoga

By admin

Prenatal Yoga is a classification or type in traditional yoga which is otherwise called as ‘Pregnancy Yoga’. The poses and breathing practices followed in this yoga will help to reduce the discomforts and other problems faced by pregnant women and thereby make the child delivery process easier. As commonly known pregnant women cannot try with different risky poses, this pregnant yoga ensures that the steps are easier but provides necessary exercise. Prenatal yoga concentrates more on the pelvic parts, knee and the ankle. It also helps the pregnant women by preparing their body to bare the labor pain which occurs during delivery.
Prenatal Yoga consists of a special pose named ‘balasana’ which literally means pose of a child. This pose cares the chest, abdomen and the lower back. Since this is yoga meant for pregnant women, lot of care should be taken while working out. The abdomen part should not be pressed during any pose. The person should be fresh and should check whether their blood sugar and pressure levels are in control. Parental Yoga should not be tried personally. It is suggested to have a instructor or trainer who can give personal care. This yoga not only helps you before and during pregnancy but also will help women to retain their shape and health when practiced few months after delivery.
